That's me pictured with my Mom because my Mom is the one who taught me how to ride a bike (thanks Mom!) and because standing next to her was the only way I could get someone to take my picture . . . Anyway I have the good fortune of being married to my wonderful wife Michele and having two great children, seven-year-old twins Margaret and Peter. We live in Traverse City, where I am a senior partner with a state-wide law firm. My background is in ultraendurance (24 hour) bike racing and I switched to road racing three years ago. This will be my second season with Hagerty, where I race with the Masters team. The switch in sports has involved a huge learning curve and everyone on the team has been wonderfully supportive and informative. My primary goal for this season is to play more of a role in as opposed to merely surviving the races. |
